ART STUDIO REVEAL

This studio reveal has been a long time coming! I have learned that a well planned space takes time and experimenting. My studio has had a few different layouts since we first moved in, but I have finally landed on the most functional organization I (think) I can come up with! A creative space, for me, needs to be bright, organized, and colorful. I functioned with it in a pretty disorganized manner for a while and quickly learned that my environment really does have an effect on my productivity and stress. Now I enjoy sit-in gin here working on orders, back office stuff, and of course, creating art! I have linked furniture, decor, and organizational supplies for your convenience.

I used the peg board system from IKEA to organize all of my shipping and product materials. My lamp was a HomeGoods find, are you surprised? But I found a look a like and tagged it below for you. Also, my hanging files on the peg board are transparent, but I spray painted them blue to add a little color. I also don’t like top see through everything especially if the inner contents aren’t especially appealing to the eye. Less busy to look at! I linked them below for you as well. I just picked up some spray paint that was meant for plastic from Lowe’s and gave them a few coats. The hooks from IKEA work on the back of these hanging racks to easily hook onto the peg board.

My favorite planner accessories are from Barrington Gifts. I use a moleskin planner inside of my Barrington book jacket. I love how you can customize and personalize all of your pieces to fit your preferences!

I use an ikea utensil rack to store all of my paintbrushes on the wall. I also use a bulletin board that I painted white with push pins and binder clips to hang my paint tubes so I have easy access to them while I am mixing colors. As you can see I mix my paints in glass jars. It helps me keep favorite hues and keep specific colors for commissions or pieces I am not finished working on.

My bamboo back chair was a fun find on Facebook Marketplace. I still have plans to paint it a green or blue someday.
